My school is at 100% free and reduced lunch. Many are from one parent homes. Many are being raised by siblings or grandparents. They are hungry for change. They are suffering the effects of the pandemic not only from a mental and physical standpoint, but from an economic standpoint. They need the tools necessary to make good decisions, especially as they plan their future. Problems that existed before the pandemic were magnified during the pandemic. Students need to feel empowered with information to take care of themselves, their families and their community.

About my class
