After so much time away from the classroom, my students are still adjusting to full time, in-person learning. They have spent a great deal of time over the last two years on devices, enveloped in virtual realties. While technology is an important tool in our education, I think it is equally important that we spend time teaching our kids how to focus on the present. These STEM tools that I am asking for will allow my students the opportunity to be present, to create, and to discover. These materials will be used to begin each day in our classroom with a creative lens. Students will get ready to absorb new information through play. We teach curriculum each day but we have to remember that our kids are still kids and need time to play as well.
