Distance learning, in general, is very hard for special education students. These counting materials will continue to enhance their fine motor in the classroom that I strive to create. These materials will provide my students with hands-on activities to practice their sight words and vocabulary words. Practicing sight words can be a boring activity (especially for SPED students who have a short attention span). It's important to have engaging opportunities for my students to interact with their words. My class will have the opportunity to choose a sight word activity every time they practice them. Students learn best through engaging activities and having interesting materials in the classroom can make a world of difference in learning sight words skills.
