I serve as team leader for four 3rd grade classrooms, working with grade levels below and above us to create a continuum of STEM learning for our primary students. The WeDo 2.0 Core Sets are easily adaptable to fit any learning environment, school, or home. WeDo 2.0 challenges students to define problems, ask questions, and design their own solutions—setting them on a path to become lifelong learners.​ This is the Engineering Design Process that we want to introduce and explore with our students across the curriculum. Our students demonstrate the most significant growth, and deepest understandings of concepts and processes when they engage fully through hands-on explorations. Utilizing LEGO to introduce concepts and skills will connect their personal interests to the school curriculum, motivating them to go deeper and to develop their ability to express their new understandings and ideas with others.
