The use of books in schools is of utmost importance. To have an extensive classroom library where students can freely utilize print materials would make such a positive impact. Students use books to learn about concepts of words and sentences. They use them to create stories of their own based on exciting illustrations. Most importantly they use the skills they learn in the classroom to begin to decipher the words in these books to make great readers. The gift cards from Teachers Pay Teachers would be used in the aid of reading and print concepts as well by allowing our classroom to use materials, games, and activities shared by other professionals. They could assist students who may be needing extra help in a subject area or those who could use more challenging work. The differentiation of work in classrooms is beneficial to student success.
