I teach life skills (Special Education) Kindergarten-4th grade in Texas at (rural school). As a teacher I work to include diversity, inclusion, and empowerment into everything I do. My students come from humble places yet their love is overflowing. They come to school each day with a smile, despite any hardships they may face. I try to keep my class organized and clutter free (sensory overload) is always an issue. I want to bring joy to their learning and give them the best. I am working to create an inclusive class library, as well as bring technology and fun into the class. My students are not "disabled" but rather "differently-abled" I can assure you they are fantastic and amazing children.
