Having access to new and improved filming equipment will enhance the already stellar teacher made videos and help to develop creative student skills of filming/editing. During the pandemic, our teachers have utilized video creation to reach students at home. They make engaging, inspiring, and informative material with limited, aging, and ineffective devices. Many teachers have requested a video making suite. In a world dominated by Youtube, TikTok, and Instagram we hope to develop skills of video creation in our students. These skills can be essential in future jobs and give another creative outlet. As restriction ease, we hope to return to our Movie Making club. We plan to make a short film during this after school club. Giving this outlet, we saw such a change in many of our troubled students.
