Due to their assorted learning disabilities, my students have an exceptionally hard time staying attentive at times. Many of them struggle with attention deficit disorders that make staying seated and still for long periods of time difficult. In the past, I have fastened foot bands to their desks to give them some sort of outlet for their fidgeting, but alternative seating such as inflatable wiggle chairs would be the best option for my students, giving them an opportunity to stay working, but still get some of their energy out. Additionally, dry erase material applied to their desks would give them means to compute and practice writing without having to hold onto an unwieldy small dry erase board, when often physical attributes constrain them from putting small boards to the best use.
