I am a new middle school teacher, having previously taught first grade for years. I developed my classroom library around 5-8 year olds, and now find myself in thrift stores every weekend looking for books to fill my middle school library shelves. My students go through the books I find so quickly, they are eager for more! Students love telling me about what they're reading, and sharing the adventures they're having through reading with their classmates. I would love to provide more diverse books for my students to keep their interest in reading alive!
