My students are awesome! Many of them come from non-typical homes where they don't always have access to materials them may need. Our school is located in a small rural community. One of our favorite times of the day is story time. They are all excellent listeners while I read them a story. They are all reading at different independent levels. Having a listening center in the classroom will give them an opportunity to explore books that they may not be able to read on their own.
