My classroom has several comfortable reading areas and bean bag chairs for reading. Many of my students have been at home without access to actual books during COVID. Having access to different types of books, non-fiction and fiction, magazines, chapter books, poetry, short stories, even comics are important for developing a love and respect for reading time.
