I am a Special Olympics Coach. Here in Oklahoma, we can participate in the Special Olympics Art Competition. For students who are not interested in any type of sports competition, this is a great activity for them to participate in. We work for 6 to 8 weeks on creating masterpieces they submit to the judges. I am always amazed at how creative they are and what they come up with when they are given art supplies. This past year we competed in acrylic painting, watercolor painting, 3D projects and collages. Our art supplies get used up each year and I have to purchase many supplies again for the next year.

About my class
