While some of these books will be used at home during distance learning, many of these books will also be ready for students upon their return to the classroom! The first step in helping students learn to read, is helping them get excited about reading and sparking interest! I hope that with this variety of books, students will be inspired and curious about reading. Once their interest is built, we can then go into detail about what their reading is about with very insightful conversations about text, author's purpose in writing, themes, and more!

About my class
