Edison is a programmable robot designed to be a complete STEM teaching resource for coding and robotics education for students. More than a robot, Edison’s sensors and expandable build system open up pathways for learning across math, science, critical thinking, engineering, design thinking and more. Not only will the students use robots to learn coding skills, they will also be able to complete free-form challenges that are open-ended engineering design projects perfect for getting students to think creatively, be resourceful and inventive. Students will be able to use Scratch-based block coding, or even text-based coding with Python! Students will tackle challenges like designing a cotton-ball launcher or inventing a burglar alarm using the Edison robots. I can't wait to see what my smart creative students design and explore with Edison robots!
