Imaginative play is so important in a child’s early life. By providing enriched learning experiences for young children, we are giving them opportunities to explore and practice skills they will use throughout their lives, while also establishing meaningful relationships. Play helps us build brain pathways for thinking, creativity, flexibility, empathy, problem-solving skills, and many other lifelong skills. "Play is the highest form of research." Albert Einstein Throughout the year, I will be able to use these materials to create new dramatic play settings such as a bakery or restaurant, police station, construction zone, and a castle for our fairy tale unit. I will be able to use the figurines during various units to help students dive deeper in their learning and explore through play, such as creating habitats for the animals and discovering creatures' similarities and differences. Your donation will help to create joy and excitement in our classroom. These resources will be cherished for years to come!
