I am a special needs teacher that works with students that are working on getting their high school diploma but needs extra help. These students have multiple disablities. As their case manager, I create a calming safe enviroment where the students can get additional instruction in areas they struggle in, help in the core classes, life skills, and behavioral intervetions. I have a quiet corner where a student can relax and reset. This area has sensoey items to help in the process. I focus on the students' IEP goals and help them meet those goals.

About my class
