Using Scholastic My Big World Magazines in a Pre K classroom not only promotes a variety of curriculum approaches to reach our little learners. These magazines helps teachers use their interactive whiteboards with the digital magazine to teach as a whole group. These skills promote sharing and social/emotional developments with the interaction with their peers in a whole group setting. These magazines are not just a supplement. The digital subscription that comes with the magazine uses a video, songs, and games to teach the learning focus of the theme. The paper copy for each student can be used right along with the digital copy. The combination of both the digital and hard copy of the magazine promotes so much learning and fun. We as teachers can also reinforce learning at home with the suggested hands on activity for home learning. This product is a win, win for any early childhood educator. Plus the most important is Clifford The Big Red Dog is the mascot throughout the magazine and what child does not love Clifford!
