The students will be able to continue their learning from home if these devices were made available. Sending packets of work home on Distance Learning days doesn’t provide the engagement that these students need. They need interaction with their teacher and the feedback that online programs provide for their learning. These devices will also provide hundreds of books that they can read or have read to them.
