During COVID, we have had to alter our schedule in order to keep contact at a minimum and to ultimately keep our students and staff safe. The teachers rotate classrooms while the students stay in their homeroom all day. While we love this plan for keeping COVID at bay, we don't love it for 7th graders who need a little movement. My students researched ways to help them make some healthy movements during class and I am so proud of what they've come up with! They all requested that I buy chair bands for their desks so they have some way to move during class. They also requested that we purchase some Scholastic Magazines to incorporate in our group-learning time!
