The use of the coffee machines along with all the supplies will allow us to start up a coffee business for our transition-age special education students, allowing them to focus on job skills. Teachers will be able to order their drinks in the morning through a google form. Then students will make the drinks using the Keurig machines and then deliver the coffee to specified locations at specific times. Higher level students are able to take a label, attach it to the cup, and complete the order on their own. Lower level students, who might not be able to read, are still able to do a lot independently due to visuals and color-coding. Students will learn teamwork, socialization, and entrepreneurial skills to be successful in their independent lives.
