I have recently found out that the students I am working with are not reading at home, because they don't have access to books. My goal is to give every student that I work with a book. I am hoping it will motivate them to read, and that their reading level will increase. These books will be given to students to read at home, as my school is a virtual one. My thought is that students will read the books to fulfill class reading homework requirements, (I have challenged them to read 20 minutes ever day). The students will love the books, and hopefully will fall in love with reading too!
