Teaching virtually requires me to use technology that is reliable and that will support my teaching. Currently, the technology I am using is not only outdated, but doesn't allow me to meet the students' technological needs when giving instruction. Several times during a day, instruction has been interrupted or there have been long lagging delays. High level student engagement requires me to be able to present screens and use multiple platforms on a device that can assist. I want to provide my students with quality learning experiences. I teach virtually on camera for most of my class period. When students are working in collaborative groups or working independently, I am facilitating. I am teaching from 9 am until 3pm. A device that supports this type of instruction is needed to support learning.
