"March" tells the story of the Civil Rights Movement in the format of a Graphic Novel. I think this will help my students connect with a story that they have learned many times, in an exciting and unique way. Many of my students really enjoy learning THEIR history, which is Black History for most of them. In addition, many of my students are interested in graphic novels and anime. The 2020-2021 school year has been extremely challenging. My students have been learning from home for the entire school year and will continue to do so for the rest of the year. By gifting them a copy of the book "March" it will show them how much I care about their learning and hopefully end the year on a positive and fun note.
