As a librarian in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am aiming to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences. I work with over 180 students in my school. They range from the ages of 3-13. I service general education students as well as students with severe special needs to include multiple disabilities and autism. My students are currently learning from home and enjoy all different types of learning activities done virtually. They engage with Google Slides, ZOOM learning and participate in our live sessions. Although they are learning from home, I am teaching both from the classroom and my home!I am seeking assistance in obtaining a laptop. I am currently teaching in person and remotely. I am using a myriad of devices to connect with my students but I do not have a reliable laptop. Thats where this request comes in! I would use this technology in order to provide remote learning instruction to my students who are learning from home. Our school is using a hybrid model however the vast majority of our students are at home due to the pandemic. I unfortunately don't have a laptop to utilize to teach my students. This resource will not only help me continue to create my lessons and activities for remote learning but to allow me to continue to interact with my students through our live sessions.
