In our Pre-K STEM lab, we are learning to build but at the same time, we are working on fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Students are also developing their creativity and imagination. Magnatiles also help teach shapes and symmetry. Lincoln logs teach basic engineering and balance. Working together with Magnatiles and Lincoln logs will help my students develop social skills like sharing and getting along. During COVID, it's important to have trays to space out and social distance their activities. These materials will impact every student in my school for years to come.
