This year technology rules! Since we are virtual it is crucial that I have the best technology available to withstand 7 hours of virtual learning. A new laptop will be able to support students with resources such has online leveled libraries, interactive math manipulatives, educational videos, interactive learning websites and the list goes on. Furthermore, it will allow our class to be on Google Meet while toggling back and forth between our other educational platforms simultaneously. It will increase student engagement and decrease unnecessary wait time. "You are frozen again Mrs. Rosenberger!" is something that I hear far too often. I have the top speed internet in my home but the computer furnished by the school district is not equipped to keep up with demands of virtual learning. My students are sweet, resilient, and motivated to learn! Having a computer equipped for the demands of virtual learning will bridge the gaps and strengthen the connections between me and my students.
