We use the STEM Bins during Fun Fridays and as an option for morning work. These hands-on bins are filled with building materials and challenges that spark creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. Whether students are designing bridges, constructing marble mazes, or experimenting with simple machines, the bins offer a fun and meaningful way to reinforce STEM concepts through play.\r\n\r\nThe first time my students saw the STEM Bins, their faces lit up with excitement and curiosity. They were eager to dive in and start building, and it was amazing to see how naturally they began to work together, share ideas, and support one another. These moments of spontaneous collaboration and innovation have become common in our classroom, especially on Friday mornings when students know they'll have time to explore the bins as a reward for their hard work during the week.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, the STEM Bins are becoming a stepping stone into more structured engineering and design projects. We're planning to introduce weekly design challenges that align with our science and math curriculum, allowing students to apply their learning in creative ways. The bins have not only enhanced student engagement but also built a strong foundation for critical thinking and teamwork.
