The materials I am requesting will be used to foster a love for spelling, reading and math. During this virtual setting my students will find delight in being able to use hands on materials (normaly seen in the classroom) at home. To continue to build the foundational skills for my fantastic first graders to move forward to second grade with confidence they need more writing journals, whiteboards, markers, linking cubes, letter tiles, calendars, clocks and so much more! With a class demographic of 70% ESL students, it is very important to use as many hands on manipulatives as possible to ensure maxium teaching and learning is occuring. Help my first graders soar!
