By providing flexible seating, a diverse library collection, and more it will allow them to apply themselves in new ways, think outside the box, and do so comfortably and safely. Flexible seating is so important at this age, as many students find it difficult to sit in one chair for an extended period of time. Read-a-longs will allow students to listen to popular stories while having the book in hand, rather than on a screen. The diverse collection of books will allow my students of color to feel as though they belong and are seen in the classroom.
