For many students, Mathematics seems very vague or not tangible. With Math Tiles and Circles students will actually be able to see what the fractions actually look like. It will give them a chance to connect what is on paper to what is REAL in their lives. The Math tiles are small enough that I can send them home with students who are quarantined and working at home. Often students at home miss out on the hands-on activities of the school. The tiles can be sent home so the students can stay up to date with what is happening in school. The Math Tiles will be easy to transport back and forth. Drawing objects is not very accurate for many. Students can draw shapes on whiteboards or paper but it is tough for students to get an accurate division of shapes for fractions. This makes fractions still seem abstract when their own drawings do not accurately show the correct amount.
