With all of the new guidelines in place to keep students and staff safe in schools during the pandemic, students have been very limited in their movement around the classroom and most stay at their desks throughout the entire school day. My hope is that these plastic-coated seat cushions will allow students to sit comfortably around the room during their reading or writing, and can be easily cleaned at the end of the day. I want to make this school year as "normal", comfortable, and fun for these students who have already missed out on so much since last Spring. I want them to be able to have tools for their restless feet at their desks, trays that can be moved around the room, and white-erasers so that they can each have their own materials (and spare our tissues!). Thank you in advance for your support in making this school year more enjoyable for this group of amazing 5th graders that deserve the very best, and my future students in the years to come!
