Kids are picky eaters, but research shows that they they are involved in the gardening process, they are more likely to try new foods. Help me give my students access to creating their own organic food at school. Even the pickiest eaters won't be able to resist trying veggies they've grown themselves. In addition, gardening encourages the development of fine motor skills every step of the way, from picking up tiny seeds to gently caring for seedlings and plants.
