These small group and tier 2 supplies for reading and math will help me support my below grade level students in so many ways. It will help me as a first year teacher having the supplies ready to go. To pull my struggling students aside and hit on skills that each student individually needs and missed during online learning due to covid in both reading and math. My students are lacking the skills needed to be successful in 3rd grade in both areas of reading and math. From knowing my students, I can tell they want to learn. They want to be able to read but they don't have the confidence behind them to read aloud and to participate. My students want to be able to understand the math concept. I can see their little minds turning and turning but not knowing basic number sense and fluency is really hindering them from being successful. Having the resource of the reading kits will help my students in phonics and fluency ELA. 3.RF and math manipulative's for operations Math. 3.OA.1 will help the students build confidence in themselves. Having the resource of the headphones will help my students who cannot buy or have their own set be able to listen to their support programs on their computer in reading and math. To fully understand the concept and to get the extra resource and support at home. These supplies and kits will help my students meet their full potential while in 3rd grade this year. They are already behind from the covid year, let's not make them even further behind.
