“When life hands you dirt… plant seeds!” And that’s exactly what I want to do!!! Providing seeds, scientific tools and materials will allow students to collect their very own data at home and analyze it as it grows before their very eyes! Distance learning has definitely been a unique challenge for everyone. Many of our students are inquisitive and eager to DO SCIENCE experiments and this will provide them with that opportunity. Materials from this project would provide a much-needed STEM experience for students to get their hands-on learning as an at-home science lab, something they’re missing this year in particular. Even though we’re online, I hope this project will provide an opportunity for students to wonder about the world we’re studying and see it for themselves!
