Teaching phonics and syllabication to students in a fun and hands on way. Using the magnetic letters and the magnetic board will help my visual and tactile learning students make the connections in decoding, syllabication and reading. Giving the students their encouragement reward for positive behavior. The many sensory toys will help keep the students focused. Practicing reading and writing everyday in all ways possible. Reading is the key to future success. Not all students learn in a standard desk and chair modal so offering flexible seating is a must. Magnetic letters help students to visualize consonants and vowels, vowel teams and word patterns. Students can work at there own pace with given assignments. They can also create their own stories for a feeling of success.
