My students are preparing to dive into their next language arts unit on folktales. This is the perfect opportunity to bring in stories reflecting their beautiful Latino culture! Having a variety of Latin American folktale books in both Spanish and English will allow my students to connect much more with their upcoming language arts unit. In addition, card stock and coloring pencils will enrich the unit by giving the students the opportunity to illustrate their own folktale which they will share out with the class! The drawstring bags will help to keep all of their materials Covid safe as both in-person and virtual students. Staying Covid safe is top priority so the document camera will allow folktale books to be shared safely.
