Teachers have always been flexible, but a global pandemic has made the need ability to adapt and "pivot" even more essential. Media Centers have to be able to continue to meet needs in different ways. I envision this cart with storage bins as a way to take the media center to the classroom for targeted and thematic literacy lessons. I would love to be able to select specific materials and bring the library to the students and use the chart to work on specific skills like identifying story elements. I could do lessons on poetry with magazines and other materials that could be done in the classroom or in small groups in the library. The size of the cart is ideal and would be a way to organize materials to meet student needs.
