These materials will enhance the students learning. It will allow them to explore different things in the science realm and will allow for exploration. We will target gross motor, science, and manipulation of items with the materials on our list. The students love to explore and this will help them gain knowledge while playing! In our classroom we focus more on using natural objects to learn with and the items on our list do just that, we use stones for building, 'real' kitchen items to cook with and then lifecycles of bugs and plants to grow our knowledge.
