The donation of these books would allow our third grade students to support their literacy learning needs at home. This is incredibly important this year due to the COVID 19 pandemic. Unfortunately, this pandemic has delayed literacy learning for our third graders, so they need books they can take home to practice their reading skills to ensure they are reading at grade level by the end of the school year. Since we have many students with younger siblings at our school, it will help build their reading fluency by having books to read and share with younger siblings. Literacy is critical in Arizona due to the Move on When Reading (MOWR) law.

About my class
