As a teacher, I strive to motivate students to be thinkers and lifelong learners. It is important to have many types of books available for students to read and for me to read to them. I have chosen to order books on diversity, inclusion, biographies, science, and poetry. These will complement my current library which is limited or outdated in these areas. While my students are learning from home, I prefer to read books out loud during our classroom google meet classes rather than always showing a video reading of the book. It allows me to connect with students and to interact with them as I read. Your support will help me continue to inspire my students to be lifelong readers and thinkers!
