In Pre-K 4, one of the important goals that I have for them is to be able to read pre-primer and some primer sight words and be able to read cvc words so that can read a leveled book by the end of the school year. I want my children to make the connections by reading books and reading the sight words and begin to make the letter sound connections while reading books in the Library Center. By adding the calming comfy chairs to my Library, I feel it would make my Library look more exciting to the children and make them want to go in the Center and read more. one they start going tin there more, I know their love for reading books will grow and they will grow closer to being Kindergarten Ready.
