My students are back at school for 2nd grade! They miss the comforts of home and I do too. 🙂 We have great classroom chairs and a few special chairs. But, some more alternative seating will help so much for my wiggly learners. Bean bag chairs that are large enough for adults or 2 children will compliment our shared reading time so well. Teaching kids that learning can happen anywhere. It isn't always sitting up straight in a desk all day. When they are working with a partner they can sit together in a special chair to do the work with clipboards or their reading books. Comic books are the favorite currently. Especially the Avengers, Captian Marvel, Wonderwoman, and Superman. Being able to read and work in a more relaxed environment is just what we need to get pur brains concentrating on our work instead of our hard chair making us want any excuse to get up. This group of learners is incredible and work hard.
