The Scholastic Math Magazines will help my students understand what they learn in the classroom is actually used by mathematicians in the real world! When the students are able to see this real world application, they can visualize a future career in math. It is very important that young people get interested in STEM classes and build a strong foundation of knowledge to carry them through high school and into their prestigious career choice. This magazine subscription also includes a digital version so that the students studying at home can benefit from the resource. I plan on using the magazines for the daily bell work. Students will read a specific article from the magazine and journal about how the content they are currently working on is used in the articles. I am so excited to see how this magazine can inspire my students.
