My school has been virtual since March 2020. The students and I have been doing our best to adapt and learn new ways to learn and teach through a screen. With the new plan of returning to school on a hybrid learning schedule, we will have to relearn and adapt again as I plan to teach both in person and virtually at the same time. With an HP laptop will provide the opportunity be able to quickly and effectively deliver interactive lessons. It will allow me to monitor and interact with the students at home and those in the classroom at the same time. With a laptop, I will be able to give the students the best learning experience I can give, without the worry of a system failure on an already slow moving desktop. Further, connecting my desktop monitor as a second screen, allows me to monitor virtual students on one screen while sharing my laptop screen to guide students through lessons. This project will allow me to give my students a great and effective environment for hybrid learning. My class is based on using technology in the real world, so having the latest technology to deliver these lessons is crucial. One of my favorite lessons is teaching students to create a personal website where they share information about themselves, their families, pets, and career aspirations and plans for the future. A high-quality laptop will make is easier and more reliable for me to model this and other digital technology lessons for the students.
