I am writing this grant to request a new computer to assist me to successfully navigate my virtual work setting. I am a special educator who works with 90 students who struggled in a brick and mortar setting and are finding the virtual world even more frustrating. I am currently using a dated computer to conduct Zoom sessions with my students. My district gave all students new technology. Teachers, however were given the older devices. It’s been very frustrating to hear my students say “I can’t hear you”. My device is not reliable and is not Zoom friendly. I need a reliable computer system to conduct meetings more efficiently and effectively.
