We will use the graphing calculators every day in my Algebra II classes. Students will learn to make connections between algebraic and graphical representations of functions by analyzing graphs on the calculator. The graphing calculators are also used to enhance real-world problems like modeling exponential growth and decay of cells. With new graphing calculators, my Algebra II students will also be better prepared for their College Algebra and AP Calculus classes that they will enroll in the following school year. Students are expected to know how to use graphing calculators seamlessly at this point. By using the graphing calculators now, students will no longer need to focus on learning how to use their calculators while learning college level math.

About my class
