The purpose of this project is to award the girls materials that will allow them to engage in mindful and calming activities that can help relieve stress. Girls will use cultural journals to jot down thoughts and feelings and brainstorm how to problem solve using the glitter pens and other supplies. Girls will use fidget devices to assist them with maintaining self-control and encourage self-regulations. The bags are a take away that are going to be filled with goodies to celebrate the conclusion of the 7-week Girl Power curriculum.

About my class
