My job is to prepare my students for kindergarten and make sure they're prepared for kindergarten. Many of my students range from the ages 3 to 5 years old. Many of them have a disability ranging from developmental delay to language impairment and autism. Some have a hard time understanding concepts that are being taught on a worksheet or a dry erase board. A lot of my students are hands on learners and enjoy interaction when participating in interactive learning games on ABC mouse or footsteps 2 Brilliance. With the limited access to technology in my classroom it is hard to increase academic skills and technologic skills. I'm hoping to change the dynamic in my classroom for the better to reach my students in ways their familiar with so I can help them make the gains I know they can make.
