We are moving to a new literacy program in 2021. Before now, we used Reading Counts to gather data about comprehension strategies and assess student reading. After Christmas, we will use novel studies to assess and teach comprehension skills. This project will get a book in the hand of every student I teach face to face, with some extra in case anyone comes back from distance learning. I would love to have a class set of this memoir for my students to analyze, and my students love stories set in this part of the world!
