The book nook will help to foster my students' love of reading. I want to create a space that is comfortable and that inspires them to read. Reading will help their imagines sore to places beyond their wildest dreams. An early foundation in reading establishes a strong foundation for life. By providing my students with the opportunity to choose books that interest them, I will better be able to enrich their reading abilities. I look forward to watching them grow as readers and to see their excitement over reading. My students will be ecstatic for the chance to go to the reading nook and get lost in their favorite book. I teach in a low income community. Many of my students do not have the luxury of having their own books at home. I am trying to give these students the exposure to written text and to help them to become successful students and then eventually successful adults. Each and every piece of furniture and every book will be treated with love and care. I am looking forward to seeing their faces light up when they use the book nook in my classroom. I cannot possibly do this without your help. All donations to my project are greatly appreciated!
